I called before Xmas with missing runners, tried to continue to assemble but more parts missing. Surely this should have been checked by QA before dispatching, really not impressed with wayfair. Not sure if I will order from you again or recommend disappointing.

To make a complaint
I was scheduled to receive delivery of my item on the 6th of Feb and arranged time off work for this. My order did not arrive.
It was very frustrating trying to get to speak to someone but eventually I managed to contact customer services. I was advised that this was only an estimated delivery date and that they would contact DHL to find out about my delivery.
I was advised that I would need to reorder my item as the original item could be lost...now my item is scheduled to be delivered on 8th March!!! How could it just have disappeared?

Water noise was non existent alto the product was the right size and colour but was purchased to have the peaceful sound of water in the garden

I bought a rise and recline chair on behalf of my dad who has cancer, is diabetic and has balance problems to name just a few. Before buying I checked on the government site regarding the item being VAT free and it does say Rise and Recline chairs are VAT free for people with disabilities.
I spoke to Wayfair after ordering the chair and they sent me the relevant form for my dad to complete and return to get the VAT refunded, which he did. I was advised the VAT would be refunded in 10 working days. After 9 working days, I emailed to check the status of my refund. I had a response advising the rise and recline chair I purchased wasnt exempt from VAT.
This is incorrect. I called and spoke to Tim, an advisor, who gave me lots of conflicting and incorrect information and admitted he didnt know much about how it works. After more checking, Tim advised he found that the chair I had bought was indeed VAT free but he was unable to deal with this. I asked to speak to a Manager and Tim advised a Manager would email me the next day.
I received an email the next day (26th October) from Ben, a Customer Advocate, who advised the government website said Recliners are not VAT free. This is correct but I didnt buy just a recliner, I bought a rise and recline chair which ARE VAT free for people with disabilities. Please can you arrange for the VAT to be refunded.
I think because the title of the chair says Recliner, the people I have been dealing with are not reading the product information which clearly says the chair is a rise and recline chair (lift assist). The chair I have bought is VAT free as confirmed on the government website.

Preferred solution: I would like the VAT refunded as should be the case as per the government website and other retailers’ procedures.
User's recommendation: Don’t but rise and recline chairs from Wayfair, by from Amazon or other retailers as you won’t have to pay VAT then.
Cancellations 4 times
Cancelled order twice they inform me carrier has suite and he will have to deliver it to belfast and return it to uk.before I get my money back.
